The National 4-H Dairy Conference is a premier event for those 4-H’ers who desire a career in the dairy industry and who look to network with dairy-interested youth from across the U.S. and Canada. Much of the planning for this annual event, to be held September 26-29, 2021, is underway with hopes of hosting an in-person Conference this fall.
As our nation continues to face the current health crisis, it is difficult to cement plans for future events with the many unknowns. We are continuing to monitor the current COVID-19 pandemic and will consult with appropriate personnel as we move forward in making the decision whether to hold or cancel the event for 2021. We know vaccines are being given and things are moving in a positive direction, but we are still working on the path to back to normal.
Other factors that need consideration: travel restrictions, local gathering restrictions and most of all the health and safety of everyone. Understanding the timeline for conference logistics, registration and travel we will be posting our final decision on this website by July 4, 2021.
Our committee is looking for feedback and insight from states regarding participation at the 2021 National 4-H Dairy Conference. Please respond to the following survey by June 1.
Be safe and stay healthy,
